Barrow Bear Cubs is our weekly parent, baby and toddler group held in the school hall every Thursday morning during term time. We provide a relaxed and safe environment for parents and carers to meet, with a wide selection of high quality toys and equipment for children to play with. Members of the school staff, including members of the Reception team, oversee the session getting to know parents and children who may attend the school in the coming years. It provides an informal induction into school life at Barrow and is a great way to become familiar with the school building and the staff that work in school.
Since its infancy in June 2023, the popularity of the session has grown and we now regularly welcome twenty families and children into school each week to play, chat and have a cuppa and a biscuit!
We always look forward to welcoming new families.
