Welcome to Year 1 Class page.

The class teachers are Mrs woodland and Mrs Smith (Monday PM and all day Tuesday)

We have nicknamed ourselves the Planet Protectors and are dedicated to do our best to help the animals and the environment. 

Ways in which 5 and 6 year olds can help the planet are

  • use both sides of the paper when drawing and colouring
  • turning off lights when not in the the room
  • turn off the tap when brushing your teeth
  • walking instead of taking the car
  • recycling used items
  • feeding the birds
  • planting flowers and vegetables to help the birds, bees and butterflies
