Welcome to Year 2 Class page.

Welcome to our Year 2 class page! Miss Ireland is our class teacher, with Mrs Rance also teaching us on Thursdays. We are also very lucky to have fantastic teaching assistants, Mrs Burton and Mrs Houston, who support us throughout the week.

We are a curious and enthusiastic class who love to learn, explore and support one another. From outdoor learning to hands-on experiences, we love getting stuck in and discovering new things. We always try our best, and enjoy celebrating our learning along the way!


Key Class Information:

- Our PE days are Wednesdays and Thursdays, so please remember to send children to school in their PE kits on these days.

- Home learning is set on a Friday and focuses on key aspects of our English and Maths learning from the week.

- We are a class of keen readers and love sharing stories and discovering new books! Each Monday morning, we look forward to our Reading Raffle, where we celebrate and reward our fantastic reading at home.
