At Barrow we are proud to celebrate both why and how we learn at our best. 'Barrow Boost' compliments our 'Barrow Big Ideas' by focusing on the transferable learning skills and attitudes which will support our students in their ongoing journey into education.
The Boost is designed around a set of skills which children circle back through every academic year at a higher level, as we know that re-visiting skills creates a long-lasting depth of understanding.
Each week we ask students to look out for their classmates using these skills, and teachers highlight the impact they have in moving children forwards.
