Pupils from six primary schools have joined together to showcase their literacy prowess in a special Book Mastermind.
The event was organised and hosted by County High School, in Bury St Edmunds, and saw two Year 5 pupils from each school take part.
They each were asked 20 questions about their chosen book and then general knowledge questions to crown the overall winner.
Event organiser Mandy Harvey, librarian at County High, said she was blown away by the knowledge and enthusiasm on show.
Mandy said: “We would like to thank everyone who took part and supported our first primary school Book Mastermind.
“It was a wonderful event to host and it was great to see so many young people interested in books and reading.”
Sally Kennedy, headteacher at County High School, added: “We were so delighted to welcome our partner primary schools to compete in the first Primary Book Mastermind – they have set a high bar for the future with such enthusiasm and knowledge.”
